The Combine KC Serves New York-Style Pizza Downstairs and Rooftop Cocktails at Skyline Upstairs

The Combine KC sits at 2999 Troost Avenue, a few steps from downtown Kansas City and the River Market. It bills itself as a neighborhood favorite, and the formula is straightforward: New York-style pizza and deli food on the main floor, craft cocktails at the bar, and a rooftop lounge on the top floor with a view of the skyline.

Pizza anchors the menu. The pies have crisp crusts and bold toppings, with handmade options for meat lovers and vegetarians, so a table with different tastes can split a few and everyone is happy. Deli sandwiches and wraps are piled with house-seasoned proteins, crisp lettuce, and toasted buns. Salads and soups are made with fresh, local ingredients. Starters such as cheesy tots and Buffalo wings set the tone for a shared meal.

Upstairs, Skyline at The Combine is one of the city's newer rooftop lounges. It has its own menu of appetizers and flatbreads delivered to your rooftop table, and the bartenders mix the same signature cocktails served downstairs alongside local craft beers. It suits a sunset drink after work, dinner under the stars, or a weekend celebration with friends at a high-top table.

The Combine also works as a venue. Groups can book a private room, the lounge, or the entire space through the online event rental sign-up, and Skyline is available for private rooftop bookings from engagement parties to office happy hours, with food and drinks handled by the house. A catering menu covers lunches, office meals, and parties for groups who want The Combine's food somewhere else.

Regulars can order online for pickup, and the restaurant is hiring through its employment page.
