Baseline Creative Marks 20 Years in Wichita With a New Brand, Two Owners, and a National Client List
Some agencies are built fast. Baseline Creative took the long way. In 1999, Nathan Williams launched Baseline Fonts, a small type foundry inspired by historic letterforms and clean, intentional design. That work evolved into Baseline Creative in 2005, a design studio built around functional websites and visual storytelling, and the studio incorporated in 2006 as a creative agency serving small businesses and community-minded organizations with Nathan as principal and lead creative.
The timeline since then reads as a steady widening of scope. Ben, the first hire, joined in 2007 and opened the door to custom website development and web applications. Content development and social media strategy arrived in 2012, the same year the agency launched PetBridge, a platform that helps shelters and rescues manage and promote adoptable pets online. PetBridge is still growing: in March 2026 it shipped a WordPress plugin and expanded shelter operations features so organizations can put adoption tools directly on their own sites.
The turning point came in 2015, when Bridgette West-Williams, MBL, joined and became managing partner. Her leadership and strategic focus moved Baseline from a creative shop to a full-service partner. Today she and Nathan own and operate the agency together, and in April 2026 Baseline marked 20 years with a new brand identity and formalized ownership.
The services map to the problems clients actually bring in. Website design and development answers "our site is slow, outdated, and confusing." Branding answers "our brand feels generic." Social media management, paid advertising, and content and SEO cover the channels, business strategy aligns internal culture with external brand, and analytics and insights answers "we don't know what's working."
The team is intentionally small: eight people, including a lead developer and senior architect, a project manager, a digital marketing specialist, a communications strategist, and two graphic designers. The agency describes itself as nationally engaged yet lean, so clients work with the people who actually shape the result. Clients include nonprofits, startups, and growth-minded organizations, and Baseline designed and developed the websites of many businesses in the Full Service Review directory, among them Wichita Animal Action League, Kansas Grip, Sperra Studios, The Combine KC, Blyholder Family Dentistry, and Payne-less Junk Removal.
Baseline Creative is located at 110 N Hillside St, Wichita, KS 67214. To start a conversation, call (316) 260-5294 or visit baselinecreative.com. Open roles are posted on the careers page.
