The family-owned store at 601 N West St, Suite 232, describes itself as two stores under one roof, and the distinction matters: the appliances are used and rebuilt, and the furniture is brand new. Shoppers mix those up constantly, so here's how each side works.

The appliances are rebuilt. DT's carries washers, dryers, stoves and ranges, refrigerators, and freezers. Every unit is tested, cleaned up, and tagged before it reaches the floor. If an appliance has a cosmetic mark, the tag tells you exactly where it is and exactly what it knocked off the price. Each appliance comes with a 90-day warranty, which is the main reason to buy a rebuilt machine here rather than from a classified ad.

The furniture is new. DT's buys sectionals, couches, recliners, end tables, dining sets, bedside tables, bed frames, and tables direct from distributors, skips the showroom markup, and passes the difference along. The big sectionals move fastest. Bring your room measurements, and measure your doorway widths too, because a sectional that fits the living room still has to get through the front door.

The floor changes every week. The photos on the store's website were all taken in the store on West Street, with no catalog or stock images, and some of what's pictured sold the same week it was photographed. If you see something you want, go sit on it. Inventory turns over quickly, and the selection you find on Saturday won't be the selection you find the following Saturday.
