Wichita's GranSun Gives IT Providers a Phone System to Call Their Own
Every IT provider in Wichita gets the same question from clients sooner or later: can you handle our phones too? GranSun PBX exists so the answer can be yes. The company, based at 1909 E. Central Ave., distributes a cloud phone system that managed service providers, IT shops and telecom agents sell under their own name, while GranSun runs the platform behind it.
If you've ever lost a client to a phone vendor, or turned down phone work because you didn't want to build a platform, here's what GranSun puts on the table.
The platform is deliberately open. It provisions hundreds of certified devices from Yealink, Poly, Grandstream, Fanvil, Cisco, Snom, Panasonic, Sangoma and others, so a customer who already owns phones usually keeps them.
A Phone System You Can Call Your Own
GranSun's platform is a multi-tenant, cloud-hosted PBX. One dashboard shows every client system at once: live calls, registered phones, service health, licensing and server load. Pick a tenant and the menu narrows to that client's own setup. Role-based administration lets you hand parts of the job to supervisors or operators without giving away the keys. The end customer sees a full business phone system: auto-attendants, call queues, ring groups, call recording, voicemail and fax to email, find me/follow me, time-based routing, conference bridges, a softphone, desktop and mobile apps, CRM integration and call analytics. Version 8 adds AI voice agents, live transcription, voicemail transcription and AI-generated greetings through a built-in AI Hub. There's no charge from GranSun for those features; partners connect their own provider key and pay only the provider's usage.
Three Ways to Partner
GranSun doesn't assume every partner wants the same amount of control. White Label Elite is for established MSPs and ITSPs. You get a dedicated server, your own domain, your own logos and colors, and control over pricing, billing and feature sets. Setup takes a few business days because the server is yours. White Label Pro runs on shared infrastructure at mywlpbx.com, with your logo pushed to supported IP phones. It's the lower-overhead route, and a portal is typically ready within a day or two. The GranSun Agency program is for consultants who'd rather refer than operate. GranSun quotes, sets up and supports the end users under its own brand, and the agent earns a recurring commission for the life of the account. Partners can move between tiers. Plenty start on Agency or Pro and step up to a dedicated Elite server as their seat count grows.Licenses, Phones and Gear
Each user gets a license that fits the job. Advance includes the softphone with desktop and mobile apps, full voicemail and transcription. Basic covers essential voicemail without the apps. Low Usage suits breakrooms, hotel rooms, assisted living and analog devices. Internal is for door phones, paging speakers and anything else that never calls out. GranSun sells and rents its own preconfigured desk phones, the GS2W, GS4 and GS6, built on Fanvil hardware, along with Grandstream Wi-Fi handsets, conference phones, analog adapters, FXS gateways, PoE switches and Wi-Fi access points. Every device ships ready for zero-touch deployment, and a partner demo kit bundles phones and licenses so you can show the platform or run your own office on it.

Billing That Stays Out of Your Way
Across all three programs, billing runs through Clearfly. Partners keep the customer relationship and set their own margins. Clearfly handles sales tax, telecommunications tax, fees and payments to GranSun and to the partner once the client settles an invoice. For a small IT shop, that removes the part of phone service that's the least fun.Built on What Didn't Work
GranSun's founder came up through legacy phone systems and then managed services, and the company's story is a list of vendors that let partners down: one locked customers into proprietary phones, one raised trust concerns, one shipped cheap hardware that wouldn't play with anything else. GranSun PBX is the answer to that list, which is why "flexible, reliable, open" reads less like a slogan and more like a set of grudges. Partners also get a support portal with a knowledge base, self-paced training, downloadable desktop apps and a YouTube channel of walkthroughs covering the desktop app, the mobile app and administration.Getting Started
